I'm Pedro Garcia, one of the co-founders of WeDemand/Queremos! a music platform that connects fans and artists. With our collected data, we have promoted more than 200 shows worldwide for artists like LCD Soundsystem, Solange and The XX. Our disruptive potential to the music industry has resulted in invitations to SXSW, TEDx, TechCrunch Disrupt, MIT, and Cannes Lions Innovation. In the Music Business, I’ve done artistic direction for the careers of João Brasil and Lila, and for the past 8 years, I have been part of a consulting team that has redesigned Multishow Music Awards.
I’m also a Creative Director with 17 years of experience in the advertising industry, having worked at digital and above the line agencies in Brazil, Argentina and London, winning numerous awards along the way, such as Cannes Lions and D&AD.
With my pictures of daily life, under the alias of Cartiê Bressão, I've been invited to talks and TV Shows, crowdfunded a book and have showed my work at the Presidential Palace, at Rio's International Airport during the Olympics, and at Inhotim Institute.
In short, I love to be involved in the making of culture that shapes society and how to make it as powerful as possible in all the steps of the process: concept, production and distribution.
